The sides are held in place with our rust-proof, industrial-strength Lifetime aluminum corners. A false, slatted floor is set 10" from the top so there's plenty of root space for vegetables and flowers. Excess water drains through through the slats; vents in the sides allow air to circulate and excess moisture to evaporate. For best results, we recommend filling with 9 bags of our premium potting mixes: Organic Raised Bed Mix (20 qts.) Potting Mix (20 qts.) Organic Potting Mix (20 qts.)
