Four Flavors for a Colorful, Edible Garden! For the taste of Florida in your own backyard, try the Citrus Bush Variety Kit! Its an at-home citrus grove with only a little effort (and a lot of benefits). Use these homegrown fruits for new recipes, family-favorites, or simply freshly-squeezed juice. With the combination of varieties, you can enjoy sweet, tart, and even savory. This kit includes one of each: Meyer Lemon Bush (1 gallon) Persian Lime Bush (1 gallon) Key Lime Bush (1 gallon) Calamondin Orange Bush (1 gallon) Can't go wrong with a classic: our Meyer Lemon Bush is a cross between the sour lemon and sweet orange, making for a much sweeter flavor. Plus, both its fruit and its blooms will provide a delightful fragrance! The Persian Lime Bush is seedless, adaptable, and the most popular lime. Use it to make your own yummy limeades! The Key Lime Bush produces limes that aren't as tart (and yes, they're perfect for key lime pies!). Last in the kit is the Calamondin Orange Bush. Enjoy "bush-els" of mini-oranges that mix the flavors of the mandarin orange and the kumquat. These easy-care citrus bushes can be grown indoors, on the patio, or planted if you live in a warmer growing zone. Our curated collection is perfect for anyone wanting fresh fruit, vibrant colors, and low-maintenance plants. Plus, the scent of citrus cant be beat! Ready to get growing and fruiting? Grab your own Citrus Bush Variety Kit! Planting & Care 1. Planting: Plant each bush in an area where it can receive 6-8 hours of sunlight per day (if indoors, preferably in south-facing windows). Place all of these bushes in containers (with drainage holes) that are larger than their shipped containers, about twice the size. Well-draining soil works best for these bushes. The Persian Lime Bush and Calamondin Orange Bush particularly thrive in humid environments, so mist the leaves daily (especially if you're growing indoors!). 2. Watering: After watering your plants, allow the top 2 to 3 inches of the soil to dry out completely before the next watering. If you're not sure when to water, stick your index finger into the soil, down to about 2 inches. If its moist, hold off on watering. When you do water the plant, stop once you see water escaping the drainage holes at the base of the pot. 3. Fertilizing: Feed all the bushes during the warmer spring and summer seasons with a citrus-specific fertilizer, once every six weeks. During the fall and winter season, fertilize your plant once every 2-3 months. The same fertilizing regimen should be followed for potted plants - simply ensure that you follow the application instructions written on the fertilizer bag. For the Meyer Lemon Bush, it is recommended to apply 2 to 3 inches of organic matter to your soil to conserve moisture for best results. | 1 Gallon Citrus Starter Kit - Citrus Bush Variety Kit - Grow a Mini Orchard With Four Citrus Favorites, Outdoor Plant See how our 30 Day Happy & Healthy Gaurantee compares to Garden Goods Direct, Lowe's.
