A large tree it can easily reach 80 feet tall and 60 feet wide in a solid mass of branches tumbling to touch the ground, hence when planted in a small garden it is rather a cuckoo in the nest. All willows are extremely adaptable trees they will grow in most conditions including very poor permanently waterlogged soils. They will also do very well in good conditions and will tolerate a certain amount of maritime exposure. They do however require a sunny spot. This fine weeping willow is of unrecorded origin and uncertain botanical status, it is one of the instances where so many latinised possible botanical names have been proposed its common name of Golden Weeping Willow probably is best used to avoid confusion. Most likely it is weeping clone of Golden White willow (hence Salix alba vitellina pendula) with a dash of Salix babylonica thrown in add an exotica flavor. Item # DG6891-WW, Shipping Size: 2'-3' Our plants are field grown, we do not recommend planting in pots. Planting in pots voids any warranty. GROWING ZONES: 2-9 / SUN EXPOSURE: Full Sun Can't Ship To: AK, HI GUARANTEED TO GROW! EASY GROW INSTRUCTIONS INCLUDED! THIS LIVE TREE WILL BE SHIPPED IN A DORMANT STATE (Winter Sleep - No Leaves) AND BARE ROOT (No Planter Pot or Soil) - Cannot Ship To: AK, HI
