Description
Heirloom is a wonderful cutting rose with wonderful magenta buds that spiral open to varying tones of lilac and lavender. It has sturdy stems that bear flowers both singly and in clusters, and has a fragrance that has kept this must have of the avid rose gardener in high regard. Each offer includes one dormant bare root 1.5 grade rose. Introduced in 2013 by Jackson and Perkins Company. Medium to large flowers that measure 4 to 5 inches in diameter. Space plants 48 in. apart for best results. With a slightly spreading and mounding habit that reaches 48 inches tall. Botanical name: Rosa Heirloom. Hardy in USDA zones 5 to 9. In colder zones some winter protection of the roots is advised.
