8-Stud PowerBar 1000A BusBar, 3/8" by Blue Sea Systems | Marine Electrical at West Marine. Combine large and small conductors on a single 1000A bus bar Complex electrical systems benefit from the ability to consolidate large and small terminals on a single bus bar. Blue Sea Systems designed this high amperage bus bar to handle a variety of terminals and keep them organized to speed up installation and reduce troubleshooting time. Ideal for centralizing ground conductors or as a positive distribution point, each of these bus bars features a Z shaped stepped design to allow wires to enter the bus bar from the same side and separate large and small conductors. The end caps are molded to receive the same Z shape to create more terminal space by installing adjacent PowerBars using shared end caps. The tin-plated copper bus and studs stand up to the high torque required to achieve the best possible conductivity. Serrated flanged nuts and captive washer terminal screws simplify securing conductors and ensure the best possible connection. An included snap on cover satisfies ABYC and USCG requirements to insulate terminals from accidental cross current contact. Available in 8 and 12 stud models with 5/16" or 3/8" studs, pick the right PowerBar or PowerBars for your application. Key Features Rated for 1000A Ideal for centralizing DC grounds or positive conductors on larger boats Combine large and small conductors to speed up installation and reduce footprint 3/8" or 5/16 terminal studs support larger cables and handle the torque for the best contact #8-32 and #10-24 terminal screws secure smaller conductors in place Serrated flanged nuts and captive washer terminal screws make securing terminals easier End caps designed to accept other PowerBars and share a mounting point for adjacent PowerBar installations Included insulating cover protects terminal studs from accidental contact and cross current shorts satisfies USCG and ABYC requirements for insulation. Lifetime warranty Specifications Maximum Voltage: 150V Continuous Rating: 1000A of terminal studs: 8,12 Terminal Stud Size: 5/16", 3/8" Terminal Screw Size: #8-32 and #10-24 Mounting Fasteners: #10 screws Base material: Reinforced PVC Material: Tin-plated copper CDA 110/UNS 1000, Dimensions: 14 5/164"L x 3 3/8" W x 2 5/8" H Dimensional Drawing 1990 Dimensional Drawing 1991 Dimensional Drawing 1992 Dimensional Drawing 1993
