A touch New Zealand: CH445 Wing Chair Limited Edition by Carl Hansen & Søn The noble CH445 Wing Chair armchair by Carl Hansen & Søn is a sculptural design by the renowned designer Hans J. Wegner , who is now being honoured with an exciting Limited Edition , for which high-quality New Zealand wool is used. This makes the beautiful armchair extra robust and durable . In addition to its imposing exterior , the legendary Wing Chair scores equally well with its inner values: the upholstery has been shaped to provide maximum comfort . No matter in which sitting position, the fully upholstered lounge chair perfectly supports the shoulders, neck and back area . The CH445 armchair simply invites you to relax and unwind and enriches your home with its modern, Scandinavian design . Carl Hansen & Søn - Danish Design since 1908 What started in 1908 as a small furniture workshop on the Danish island Fünen has developed into a successful and worldwide known design company. Since the carpenter Carl Hansen founded the company , two aspects have been in the foreground: the uncompromising commitment to the finest craftsmanship and the cooperation with extraordinary designers . Thus, the development of Carl Hansen & Søn was decisively influenced by the well-known Danish designer Hans J. Wegner . The creative connection with him began in 1949 when Carl Hansen's son met Wegner and enabled the then unknown designer to create an extensive furniture series. One part of the collection conceived at that time is the today absolutely well-known and popular Wishbone Chair , also called CH24. Material and format The Wing Chair has the dimensions W 90 x D 90 x H 103 x SH 39 cm. The frame of the chair is made of stainless steel . Seat and back are upholstered with cold foam . For the high-quality Limited Edition, the Wing Chair has been upholstered with an EU eco-label and OEKO-TEX® certified Passion fabric (91% New Zealand wool, 9% polyamide, 200,000 Martindale), which you can choose from in various colour versions .
