A jury in Colorado failed to reach a decision on whether Andrew Buen, the former Clear Creek County Sheriff's deputy who shot Christian Glass several times, is guilty of second-degree murder for his role in Glass' killing in 2022.
Even before the verdict, the fallout from the shooting was wide-reaching. Multiple officers lost their jobs, some have pleaded guilty to failing to intervene, and have surrendered their right to work in law enforcement in Colorado.
A Clear Creek County jury on Friday found the former sheriff's deputy who shot and killed 22-year-old Christian Glass guilty of reckless endangerment, a misdemeanor.
