A girl who suffered a brain injury while protecting a younger student during the mass shooting at Annunciation Catholic Church has been discharged from hospital care.

Family members of Harper Moyski, one of the two children killed during the mass shooting at Annunciation Catholic Church nearly two weeks ago in Minneapolis, have announced details for a celebration of her life.

The total number of people injured in the shooting rose to 21 over the weekend when a family discovered their son was hit by a bullet fragment.

A memorial for Harper Moyski with “music, food, laughter” is scheduled for next weekend at the Lake Harriet Bandshell in Minneapolis.

In the immediate aftermath of the mass shooting on Wednesday at Annunciation Church in Minneapolis, which left two children dead and 21 wounded, local leaders asked for prayers and community support.
