Baker Mayfield had his team ready to fight — even before the regular season. The Buccaneers and Titans competed against each other at a joint practice in more ways than one on Thursday, and when Tampa Bay’s first team offense went up against the defensive line of the Titans, things got heated fast.

Tampa Bay grabbed Irving in the fourth round of the 2024 NFL Draft (No. 125), and he proved to be one of the better value picks of the player-selection process. Per ESPN stats, he finished his rookie season ranked 10th in the league with 1,122 rushing yards, tied for 15th with eight rushing touchdowns and tied for 19th with 207 carries.

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers' quarterback found himself in a situation Thursday that most QBs would get out of the way of, but Mayfield got right in the middle. The Buccaneers were holding a joint practice with the Tennessee Titans, and a fight broke out.
