Fargo police are seeking the public’s help in locating a 20-year-old suspect wanted in connection with a weekend shooting that left one person dead and two others injured.

The suspect in the downtown shooting, Tyrque Jones, 20, of Fargo, remains at large. An arrest warrant for murder has been issued for Jones. Two other people were shot downtown. One person was hospitalized in critical condition. The other victim suffered non-life threatening injuries.

Police Chief Dave Zibolski said police did not yet know the motive behind the shooting, but that the feud between two groups had "obviously escalated."

FARGO (KFGO) – Police Chief Dave Zibolski has confirmed that two deadly shootings in Fargo early Sunday morning are connected.

According to police, officers were called to the 50 block of Broadway just before 2 a.m. with a report of shots fired. Three victims were located by first responders. One was pronounced dead at the scene. Two were taken to the hospital, where one remains in critical condition, according to police.
