Afternoon temperatures will ramp up into the upper 90s with some areas reaching the 100-degree mark by Wednesday here in southeast Texas. Temperatures across Texas will be hot and humid from Houston to San Antonio. High pressure will keep a quiet outlook across Texas from much of the week.
