The pilot of a single-engine aircraft is dead after his plane went down shortly after takeoff from Lancaster Airport on Sunday morning. The Lancaster County Coroner's Office on Sunday night identified the pilot as 58-year-old Musaddiq Nazeeri, of Lebanon. A family physician of the same name practices in Lebanon.

The crash happened around 8 a.m. Sunday after the plane took off from Lancaster Airport. A 58-year-old Lebanon man was identified as the lone victim.

The crash occurred along the 500 block of Stauffer Road in Warwick Township Sunday morning, Northern Lancaster County Regional Police said.
