A fire that erupted Friday evening on a cargo ship docked at the Port of Los Angeles — requiring more than 180 firefighters to battle the blaze — is now “substantially contained,” according to a news release Saturday from the seaport.

Maria De La Rosa, a popular young Latin singer, has been shot and killed in Los Angeles. TMZ first reported the news. She was just 22. De La Rosa, who performed as “DELAROSA,” was reportedly in a parked car in the Northridge area of Los Angeles when she was shot and killed. Police said that the suspects are still at large.
