A full Saturday of boxing is on tap for July 19 in Las Vegas, when welterweight champion Mario Barrios and Manny Pacquiao square off in a main event.

But Pacquiao, in the end, fell just short on the judges' scorecards as Mario Barrios escaped with a majority draw to retain the WBC welterweight championship. Two judges scored the bout a draw, and judge Max DeLuca awarded Barrios a 115-113 victory. The Associated Press scored the fight 115-113 in favor of Pacquiao.

It was a rude awakening. Snow White is still just a cartoon, Peter Pan remains a morning line underdog to Captain Hook and Manny Pacquiao is really 46 years old. The draw he earned Saturday in Las Vegas with Mario Barrios, the WBC welterweight champion, was forged with the only weapons he has left — his courage and his legs.
