WEST SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (WWLP) – The Massachusetts Department of Public health has confirmed two human cases of West Nile Virus in the state. Peak season for the spread of this virus is currently underway. Health officials say while the temperatures dropped slightly this is the time of year when most people get exposed to the virus.
