Switzerland has tapped Petra Volpe’s Late Shift ( Heldin) as its official submission for the 98th Academy Awards in the best international feature film category.

Music Box Films has acquired the North American distribution rights for Petra Volpe’s “Late Shift,” which was revealed today to be Switzerland’s official entry for the International Feature Film category for the Academy Awards.

Switzerland’s Swiss Federal Office of Culture on Tuesday said it has selected writer-director Petra Volpe’s drama Late Shift as the country’s official entry for the 2026 Oscars in the International Feature Film race.
