The company has paused training on its next generation of models, called Astra, and its largest planned training run remains on hold, the company said.

The new feature from OpenAI focuses on teen-specific onboarding, with the goal of automatically transitioning anyone under the age of 18 to ChatGPT for Teens. The chatbot then provides them with learning-specific tools, including starter prompts for studying, step-by-step guidance, hints, and follow-up questions.
