Following its Chapter 11 earlier this year, Rite Aid has been winding down operations. Its last remaining stores are likely to close soon.

Customer prescriptions have been transferred to other providers, according to the drug store chain that filed for bankruptcy for the second time in two years.

Rite Aid’s massive collapse continues as 11 more stores are now set to disappear. Eleven locations are on the latest list that Rite Aid announced in bankruptcy filings on Friday. Seven stores are in Washington, and four are in Oregon. The 11 stores are in addition to the 1,251 stores that Rite Aid previously announced it would close.

Say goodbye to Rite Aid, South Jersey. The bankrupt drug store operator is in the process of closing all pharmacy departments at its stores throughout the region and the state, according to information at the firm's website. The move, an apparent precursor to a full store closing, already has affected customers at 26 Rite Aids in South Jersey.

The pharmacy chain's CEO, Matt Schroeder, said that the filing in the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of New Jersey was driven by financial challenges, which have been intensified by "rapidly evolving retail and health care landscapes."
