KYIV, June 2 (Reuters) - Russian air attacks on major Ukrainian centres including Kyiv, Dnipro and Kharkiv killed at least five people and wounded dozens early on Tuesday, authorities said, after days of warnings that Moscow was planning a major assault.

Volodymyr Zelensky has accused Russia of abducting Ukrainian children and training them to fight against their own country. In an interview with CBS’s Face the Nation on 31 May, the Ukrainian president claimed that children taken to Russia were being taught to hate their native country.
