Firefighters freed a 30-year-old woman who got stuck in a chimney at a park in San Fernando on Tuesday. The Los Angeles Fire Department received a call for the rescue at about 8 p.m. on the 200 block of North Park Avenue. There, firefighters hoisted a woman who was trapped in the chimney of a building at a public park.

A woman stuck in a chimney in San Fernando had to be rescued on Tuesday night, August 5, authorities said. The woman, whose age was given as about 30, became trapped about 3 feet down in the chimney or exhaust flue on top of a small municipal outbuilding at the City of San Fernando Recreation Center, the Los Angeles Fire Department said.
