2025 first-round pick signs three-year entry-level contract

The Washington Capitals have signed winger Lynden Lakovic to a three-year entry-level contract. Lakovic was the Capitals’ 27th overall pick in the 2025 NHL Draft, and was eligible to sign his entry-level contract with the team as of July 1st.

A trade deadline acquisition in March, the versatile 28-year-old showed an ability to play up and down the lineup.
