In a statement issued following the City Council's vote, Commanders owner Josh Harris confirmed that the team is aiming to begin playing in their new stadium by 2030. Meanwhile, the project bill will now move to the desk of Washington D.C. mayor Muriel Bowser, who had negotiated the original plan with Harris earlier this year.

The first injury report of the week is out for the Washington Commanders, and it featured quarterback Jayden Daniels. That's not a surprise considering Daniels suffered a knee sprain in last Thursday's loss to the Green Bay Packers. Daniels did not practice on Wednesday, but head coach Dan Quinn gave an update on Daniels' progress.
