Hollow Knight: Silksong is officially available for purchase, after six long years of waiting. The anticipation is at a fever pitch. Fans have swarmed to Steam to purchase the game and, well, it looks like they overloaded the system and shut it down.

I promise, this is real. On Sept. 4, Team Cherry is releasing Hollow Knight: Silksong, the sequel to the award-winning indie darling Hollow Knight. After years of waiting and speculation, Xbox Game Pass subscribers can play the highly anticipated sequel on day one at no additional cost.

Our first recommendation would be to use the Xbox mobile app. We've tested this method out here at the PX office, and have managed to successfully get the game installing on Xbox Series X. Simply open up the mobile app, search for Hollow Knight: Silksong, and install it to your device of choice (you'll have to link a device if you haven't already).
