Four astronauts returned to Earth on Saturday after hustling to the International Space Station five months ago to relieve the stuck test pilots of Boeing’s Starliner.

It was the first space mission for Ayers and fellow crewmate Peskov. It was the second trip to the station for McClain and Onishi. Their replacements, Crew-11, arrived at the station a week ago.

SpaceX's Crew-10 astronauts returned to Earth on Saturday (Aug. 9) after living on the International Space Station for nearly five months.

There could be a new space race as China boosts its presence in outer space, even fielding a state-of-the-art space station in low Earth orbit.

“Splashdown! Crew-10 is back on Earth from the International Space Station, marking the completion of another successful flight,” said NASA acting Administrator Sean Duffy.
