Dozens of transgender people in Florida who can't afford to move are turning to crowdfunding to help them leave after the passage of new legislation that targets the LGBTQ community.

According to U.S. Census Bureau data and a 2022 report from FIU on migration in Florida, 2021 brought a total of 810,209 people who moved to Florida from a different state or country in 2020.
