Tropical Storm Dexter is continuing to head east-northeast to the middle of the Atlantic Ocean as it strengthens Wednesday morning, however forecasters say Dexter has a day or two left as a tropical system.

Tropical Storm Dexter has strengthened in the Atlantic Ocean as it continues to drift away from the East Coast, the National Hurricane Center said.

The National Hurricane Center is still keeping a close eye on Tropical Storm Dexter and two areas to watch in the Atlantic Ocean. Dexter is moving away from the U.S. but is still producing a higher threat for rip currents along the mid-Atlantic beaches.

Tropical Storm Dexter has not become any stronger and continues to be a non-issue in the Atlantic. It will continue moving away from the East Coast and move into the North Atlantic away from land. Elsewhere,
