The Pittsburgh Penguins saw their six-game winning streak end on Saturday in a 2-1 loss to the Calgary Flames. The Penguins were lethargic for much of the game and couldn't get into an offensive rhythm. It also didn't help that Flames goaltender Devin Cooley was on top of his game and stopped the chances that the Penguins did get.

Boston signed the defenseman to a two-year contract extension Sunday with an annual cap hit of $887,500. Aspirot was summoned from the AHL in October to help give the Bruins depth on defense after Hampus Lindholm was placed on injured reserve.
