European leaders pushed on Sunday for Ukraine to be a part of the negotiations between the United States and Russia, ahead of talks between presidents Vladimir Putin and Donald Trump.

Agreements without Kyiv will be "dead decisions", Zelensky insists, as the White House says Trump is open to the Ukrainian president joining peace talks on Friday.

European leaders said peace talks between U.S. President Donald Trump and Russian President Vladimir Putin in Alaska next week are unlikely to succeed without Ukraine's involvement.
