BLS Jobs report From BLS: The unemployment rate rose to 4.3 percent in July, and nonfarm payroll employment edged up by 114,000, the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics reported today.
Additionally, the soft July jobs report was revised down by 61,000 jobs. Taken together, nonfarm payrolls for June and July were 86,000 lower than previously reported.
