It’s been one month since the devastating Texas Hill Country flood that turned the quiet and calm Guadalupe River into a fury that this area has never seen before.

Monday marks one month since Texas’ Hill Country was devastated by flash floods that killed at least 135 people and affected thousands more across multiple counties.

One month after the Texas floods, some survivors are pleading for help they say still hasn’t arrived. Others are emerging from the nightmare with the support of a community rallying to clean up the devastation on their own.
