Lions QB Jared Goff says that the team is looking to find ways to get both David Montgomery and Jahmyr Gibbs together on the field.

"We're working on how many different ways we can use them. As often as we can get both those guys on the field is a good thing for us," Goff said.

One of the early observations from Lions training camp is that running back Jahmyr Gibbs will have an increased role as a receiver out of the backfield, in new offensive coordinator John Morton's offense. In a collection of observation's from training camp, Lions insider Tim Twentyman noted Gibbs' emergence as a trusted receiver.

LIONS HEAD COACH Dan Campbell introduced his staff for the 2025 season in February. After hitting a record-setting 15-win mark in 2024, Detroit lost eight assistant coaches this offseason, including coordinators Ben Johnson and Aaron Glenn.
