LOS ANGELES (AP) — Katie Porter is fighting back. After a disastrous week that saw calls for the former Democratic congresswoman to end her campaign for California governor, supporters are rallying around her and seeking to deflect criticism about her temperament and readiness for the state's top job.

The Democratic former House member was recorded angrily shouting at the aide, “Get out of my f---ing shot!” In the footage, obtained by Politico, Porter is in a kitchen recording a video interview for the Biden administration, talking to then-Energy Secretary Jennifer Granholm.
