Former University of Kentucky competitive cheerleader Laken Snelling dressed up as an expectant mother for Halloween less than a year before she allegedly gave birth to a baby and hid it in a closet.

A representative for the Lexington Police Department said the investigation into the death of cheerleader Laken Snelling's infant remains open

University of Kentucky senior Laken Snelling has dropped out of school after being accused of hiding her dead newborn baby in her closet. A spokesperson said she withdrew from the Lexington-area school and is no longer a member of its STUNT team.
