Mexican pop band Los Bukis was memorialized with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame Wednesday in Los Angeles for its contributions to the recording industry.

“Los Bukis are the Mexican Beatles,” says Erik Flores, 27. He surprised his mother with passes to the SoFi show, which he had ceremoniously hand-delivered to her by a Solís impersonator.
Los Bukis also stood out as the second largest tour in the world in 2021, selling out nine stadiums with nearly half a million fans, followed by eleven more sold out stadiums in US and Mexico in 2022.
