Metro Boomin ’s is set to go on trial over a rape lawsuit. The trial, which will begin on September 23, 2025, comes after “unsuccessful” settlement talks with Vanessa LeMaistre, who alleges the producer assaulted and impregnated her in 2016, according to Billboard.

Metro Boomin is speeding toward a Sept. 23 trial date after a mediation and "limited settlement discussions" failed to resolve the case, lawyers say.

In her filing, LeMaistre claimed famous producer sexually assaulted and impregnated her in 2016. She recalled an alleged incident where she ingested Xanax and alcohol in Metro Boomin's studio and later woke up "completely unable to move or make a sound" while he raped her.
