FARGO — A Mid America Steel employee has died after a workplace incident Thursday, July 24, in north Fargo.

The Fargo Fire Department responded to the Mid America Steel on the 5100 block of 19th Avenue North around 9:45 Thursday morning.

The Fargo Police department has confirmed that an individual has died as a result of a workplace accident at Mid America Steel on July 24.

Mid America Steel operates at 5101 19th Ave. N. When officers arrived, they were told an employee was "seriously injured in a workplace-related incident," the release said.
