The new BBC documentary Ozzy Osbourne: Coming Home features footage from the final three years of his life, up to and including his farewell concert on July 5. The documentary was first announced in 2022 as Home to Roost and was conceived as a three-part series, but became a one-hour special as Osbourne's health deteriorated over the years.

A final photo of Ozzy Osbourne and his wife Sharon had been shared ahead of the premiere date for the BBC One documentary 'Ozzy Osbourne: Coming Home.' Osbourne died on July 22 at 76.

Following Osbourne’s death, Deadline revealed two weeks back that the BBC was l ocked in conversations over the future of the documentary series about the Osbourne family, which was originally conceived in 2022 as Home to Roost, a spiritual successor to MTV’s anarchic mid-noughties series The Osbournes.
