The body of a paddleboarder and dog were recovered from the reservoir at Eleven Mile State Park after a strong wind storm rolled through the area, Colorado Parks and Wildlife officials said.

The bodies of a missing paddleboarder and dog were recovered from Eleven Mile Reservoir in Eleven Mile State Park in Lake George, Colorado, late Friday evening, following an 11-hour search.

Colorado Parks and Wildlife (CPW) recovered the bodies of a man and a dog from Eleven Mile State Park late Friday evening. According to CPW, three people and a dog were paddleboarding around 1 p.m. when a large windstorm rolled through the park and blew the group into the water.
