Republican U.S. Sen. Susan Collins returned to Congress this week after a month-long recess. While she made few public appearances during her time in Maine, some of her constituents seized opportunities to hear directly from her Democratic challengers.

Maine Beer Co. co-founder Dan Kleban launched his Senate campaign Wednesday, joining an increasingly crowded Democratic primary.

"I think Democrats, in particular, we need to show people that we can move beyond the anger and we can move towards action," Dan Kleban said
