Over two years after the bodies of several women were discovered in Oregon and Washington, officials are expected to give an update Tuesday on the Jesse Lee Calhoun case.

Jesse Lee Calhoun pleaded not guilty Monday to a new indictment charging the Oregon man with the serial killing of four women. The court hearing, which ran just over two minutes, comes after prosecutors last week announced that they had identified a fourth woman that Calhoun allegedly lured to her death during a five-month span in late 2022 and early 2023.

A man accused of killing three women in the Portland area and dumping their bodies has been indicted on a fourth murder charge, authorities said Tuesday.

Accused serial killer Jesse Lee Calhoun has been indicted for the murder of a fourth woman, prosecutors say. A grand jury indicted Calhoun for the November 2022 death of Kristin Smith, 22, Multnomah County District Attorney Nathan Vasquez said during a news conference Tuesday.

Jesse Lee Calhoun now faces four counts each of second-degree murder and abuse of a corpse for allegedly killing the women and then dumping their bodies throughout the metro area during a five-month span in late 2022 and early 2023.
