Wayne Sebastianelli, the Penn State football team doctor for four head coaches, died unexpectedly at his State College-area home Monday, the university announced Tuesday. He was 68.

Hardy first joined the Steelers’ practice squad in November; he signed a reserve/futures contract following the 2025-26 season. A Penn Hills alumnus who played college football at Penn State, he had local connections to the team. Hardy was a sixth-round pick in 2024 by the Buffalo Bills. It’s unclear what his current injury is.
