HAMMOND — A Crown Point man was sentenced Thursday to 54 months in federal prison followed by two years of probation after he pleaded guilty to possessing a firearm as a previously convicted felon.

All four men worked together in a fentanyl distribution ring to deal pills throughout Michigan City over a 10-month span between October 2023 and July 2024, according to their plea deals.
