Delgatty becomes the third offensive lineman to commit to Alabama out of the transfer portal. He follows Michigan offensive linemen Kaden Strayhorn and Ty Haywood. The Crimson Tide has lost ten scholarship offensive linemen, whether to the NFL draft or to the transfer portal. Six of those players started in some capacity this past season.

Like Florida, Alabama was a semifinalist in last year’s national tournament, and is hungry for more this time around. Friday night will mark the 146th all-time meeting between Florida and Alabama in women’s gymnastics.
