COLUMBUS, Ohio -- Ohio State is reportedly adding a former NFL defensive coordinator to its staff. Per a Saturday afternoon report from Pete Thamel, Ohio State is expected to add longtime NFL assistant Josh Boyer to the staff. Presumably, he will be an analyst in Columbus.

“Ohio State is expected to add former Miami Dolphins DC and longtime NFL assistant coach Josh Boyer to the coaching staff,” Thamel reported. “He brings a long familiarity with DC Matt Patricia, as Boyer worked for the Patriots from 2006-2018 and won three Super Bowls.”
