Drivers in Southern California are seeing some relief at the pump. For the fifth straight week, gas prices have dropped across the region, including here in Riverside County. The average price for self-serve regular gasoline in California is $4.

State gas prices declined for the second consecutive week and reached an average of $4.28 per gallon of regular fuel on Monday, down from last week's price of $4.33 per gallon, according to the U.S. Energy Information Administration.

Gas prices in Michigan are up 8 cents this week, with motorists paying an average $3.23 per gallon for regular unleaded gasoline.
