Chicago and Cook County have issued disaster proclamations after more than 100 homes were destroyed by flooding in late July.
The flooding between July 25 and 28 impacted at least 3,000 residents, destroying around 100 homes and affecting another 3,000 homes in Chicago and suburban Cook County, officials said.
