Doomsday is set to be Marvel's biggest movie yet, with a bumper-sized cast including returning X-Men actors, the Thunderbolts (AKA the New Avengers), the Fantastic Four, and returning fan favorites like Anthony Mackie's Sam Wilson, Chris Hemsworth's Thor, and Letitia Wright's Shuri.

Avengers: Endgame directors Anthony and Joe Russo have shared a new Avengers: Doomsday photo as production continues on the next installment to the blockbuster superhero franchise. Doomsday is still scheduled to hit theaters on December 18, 2026, followed by Avengers: Secret Wars on December 17, 2027.

Doomsday is currently in production, with directors Joe and Anthony Russo overseeing the shoot. Aside from the massive cast (which was revealed via chairs earlier this year) and a general synopsis, few specific details are known about the story.
