Atlanta Falcons head coach Raheem Morris announced on Wednesday that Walker will play Friday. Walker has been dealing with a leg injury that has kept him out of some practices thus far, but it doesn't sound like it will keep him from playing this week.

The Atlanta Falcons made their preseason debut on Friday night against the Detroit Lions, but the game was overshadowed by an injury scare in the fourth quarter to Lions defensive back Morice Norris.

And while the preseason never quite lives up to the real thing, any time there’s Detroit Lions football on the television, it is a good day. This week, we get Friday night lights, as the Lions face off against the Atlanta Falcons in the Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Georgia.
