Atlanta Falcons head coach Raheem Morris announced on Wednesday that Walker will play Friday. Walker has been dealing with a leg injury that has kept him out of some practices thus far, but it doesn't sound like it will keep him from playing this week.

Atlanta Falcons first-round pick Jalon Walker has returned to practice after missing much of the first week of training camp with a minor hamstring injury.

Both teams have their sights set on the playoffs, where the Falcons haven't been since the 2017 season. Atlanta is hoping a revamped defense, led by first-round picks Jalon Walker and James Pearce Jr ., can help get the team over the hump in 2025.
