One of the biggest storylines in sports over the past 24 hours has been Dallas Cowboys star pass rusher Micah Parsons publicly requesting a trade after failing to reach an agreement on a long-term contract extension.

And that, in turn, led to a weekend of responses, including a wild thread involving Cowboys owner Jerry Jones, entertainment mogul Jay-Z, “Queen of Rap” Nicki Minaj, and former Cowboys receiver Dez Bryant. As strange as it sounds, those characters were all joined together by the contract standoff between Parsons and the Cowboys.
